Food Forests Ireland held our first stakeholder engagement meeting for the Infrastructure Enabled Edible Landscape (IEEL) in Westport yesterday - quickly building on the momentum and success of the Fr Angelus Park #FoodForest collaboration with #TrinityCollegeDublin and #WestportTidyTowns.
Following the Great Western Greenway/ Clew Bay infrastructure trail, and with the support of Community Foundation Ireland, we are working with local communities - #Mulranny, #InisTurk amongst others - to plant more food forests and share practical knowledge on food system resilience through our bespoke Community Education Programme.
